Green energy at Totem
Since mid-2021, our printing house has been using the services of Respect Energy SA, which supplies us with energy obtained entirely from renewable sources.
Pursuant to § 44 of the Regulation of the Minister of Economy of 22 March 2023 on detailed conditions for the operation of the power system (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 819, as amended) Respect Energy presented information on the structure of fuels used to generate energy sold by the company in 2023.
It shows that our supplier relies on wind energy for as much as 60% of its energy. Solar energy ranks second, with over 34%. Other fuels used to generate the electricity sold by Respect Energy include biogas (4.82%) and hydroelectric power (0.72%).
